 Mary is a candidate for Representative in the Wisconsin Assembly for the 37th District which is now represented by John Jagler, Republican from Watertown. The district includes areas of Dane, Columbia, Dodge and Jefferson counties, and the cities of Columbus, Waterloo, Watertown, and part of DeForest. 

 She is a retired social worker who is serving her second term on the Columbus School Board as vice-president.  She and her family have lived in her home town since 2009 after residing in Plover for 20 years where she worked as a school social worker. She is active in the community, volunteering at the Columbus Hospital and the VA Hospital in Madison, and belongs to the local Historical Society and Friends of the Library. She is a member of the Columbia County Democratic Party Executive Board.

She says that she is running to support small businesses, public schools, affordable health care, and to protect our natural resources. She will advocate for good jobs, fair taxes, and a strong Wisconsin economy. She says, “The way to prosperity in Wisconsin is through a healthy, well-trained, well-educated workforce. I am committed to honest and open government. I’m ready to work across party lines to serve all people.”
